It's strawberry-pickin' time! Join us as we celebrate strawberries, the first fruit of the season and the star attraction of our 10th Annual Strawberry Fest! The day's activities include Breakfast on the Deck, a strawberry scavenger hunt, horsedrawn wagon rides with Foxglove Farm, pony rides, pie eating contests, food sampling, strawberry treats, live music, and more great family fun! Come hungry and enjoy delicious strawberry treats, hotdogs, hamburgers, ice cream and more at our Outdoor Grill!

Because we enjoyed such perfect growing weather and our crop seasons are running several weeks earlier than normal, we are closing our Sunflower Maze a bit sooner than originally planned. Friday, Sept. 3, will be the final day of the 2010 Sunflower Maze. Thank you all for visiting us -- we've enjoyed our best Sunflower Maze season ever! You can still get lost at Lyman's! Be sure to visit the Corn Maze, opening on Sept. 4th!
This year's design was inspired by the kids of Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford, CT.

(The flowers are ornamental sunflowers, without pollen to attract bees or stir up allergies.) August 14 is Connecticut Children's Day at the Sunflower Maze!
Since opening our first Sunflower Maze in 2007, we have been very proud to partner with Connecticut Children's Medical Center, raising nearly $20,000 for the children's hospital. We hope you join us at the Sunflower Maze at 9am as we hold special "Crossing the Threshold" ceremonies by the sunflower field. Enjoy many fun activities to celebrating the kids and staff of one of the finest children's hosptials in New England.
