Visit our 2010 Corn Maze!
Come Get Lost in our New Design!
Open Sept. 4-Oct. 31, 2010
Join us for the opening of our 11th Annual Corn Maze! Our new design for this year's maze has been cut into the field by Brett Herbst, currently the world record holder for creating the most mazes!
We've enjoyed a great growing season. The warm weather has been perfect for growing corn, and the stalks will be towering well above your head on opening day, Sept. 4th!
This season's design honors the two year achievement of the UCONN Women's Baskeball Team!
78 Wins! 0 Defeats! 2 National Championships!
The UCONN Women's Baskeball Team has certainly put Connecticut on the map in the collegiate baskeball world! It was only fitting that we map out a tribute to them in our cornfield!
If you have followed the UCONN Women's remarkable basketball journey over recent years, you'll love following the pathways through our 'corny' tribute to their a-MAZE-ing success. Even non-sports fans will find much to celebrate during our two-month long maze season!
Group Visits Welcomed!
The maze is a fun destination for birthdays, church and school group visits. Complement your corn maze visit with the many fun outdoor activities available on our 1,100 acre farm! Special group rates are available.
Unique Corporate Team Building Opportunities!
Reserve your day in the country! Many corporate groups find the maze a great destination for unique team building opportunities. Corporate outing packages are available that include meeting space and equipment, refreshments, and much more.
Great Fun for a Great Cause!
While the Corn Maze treats visitors to a fun day in the country, complementing our Pick Your Own activities and visits to the Apple Barrel, it also raises money for a great cause. Last year's generated over $27,000 for the American Cancer Society, bringing our cumulative total donation to nearly $269,000.
Every visit helps support the cause! We donate $1 from your admission ticket to the American Cancer Society, so the more people who come to the maze, the greater our donation! Tell your neighbors, tell your friends...come out and have fun and help support the great programs the American Cancer Society provides to families and persons battling cancer.
Family Fun!
The fall season at Lyman's provides a beautiful backdrop to the many exciting activities taking place on our farm! No wonder we're Connecticut's favorite family destination!
